No matter what product or service you provide, it is so important to use the best materials to deliver a superior product. The problem we face is that a lot of people can’t get past the final number that they are seeing. They are unable to analyze differences in why one product is more expensive than another.
I just recently had this happen to me, and I’m sure most of you have had this happen in your businesses as well. After explaining what we offer and the reputation that we have the customer went the cheaper route. The customer even said our product was by far a more quality built product, but they couldn’t get around the price.
In the end, we are not meant for everyone. But most of the time dealing with a lower price never is a good thing, and that customer will circle back around in the future. They will remember the differences and value of what you offer and get a better understanding of why your price is higher. Play the long term play.
